Today… something bigger than poetry happened. One of our own, James Humecky our Poem of the Week winner stepped up in a way that honestly stopped me in my tracks. He donated $20 so someone else could chase their dream. That someone is Kasper Englund… who’s had a rough year… who thought this opportunity might pass them by… and is now in tears because of one act of kindness. Let that sink in for a second. Not a like. Not a comment. A real, tangible moment that changed someone’s day… maybe even more than that. And it didn’t stop there… Shoutout to James’s community, Somatic Pleasure, for being part of that energy because people don’t just do things like this out of nowhere. That kind of generosity comes from the environment you build and the values you stand on. ❤️ This is what The Art of Poetry is. 🔥 This is what we’re building together. 🖊️ Not just writers… but people who lift each other up.
