If the chain at rest goes all the way down to the base of the neck, should we return it for a smaller one? We had it fitted at the store and was told it’s correct, but it goes all the way down, so when we try to correct and pull up, the chain tightens lower.

Just an update that Luna was successful With the full 15’ for the first time. The chain placement helped fix a lot of the issue!

We haven’t been super successful with it, as the chain drops all the way to the bottom of her neck and then she’s pulling the 15’. I’m not sure how we can keep her from doing that, the chain just keeps going down and then she yanks. It ended up giving quite the shoulder pain!

Ok good to know. Unfortunately once it gets low, she gets pretty distracted (for most of the walk). Because of that , the long leash usually gets stuck under her feet, because we’re correcting so much. When we try to correct on the chain, it usually stays low and gets tight at the bottom, and doesn’t go up high. Any way we can fix that? Otherwise we have started it high and that seems to work better. we’ll keep trying.
