Most people pick a trade based on what they hear pays well. That's usually a mistake. 1. Your body - some trades punish your joints more than others. 2. Your long-term goals - skilled hand, side work, foreman, contractor, developer, politics and education. 3. Your lifestyle - travel, family, seasonal work.
