Hello, Sellers! Where are you looking for your first product inspiration?
Hello everyone! Thrilled to be joining the community. I'm taking the course and am currently stuck in the early Product Research phase. The course material is great, but I'd love to hear some real-world input from those who have launched successfully. Right now, I'm brainstorming ideas by looking at: 1. Gaps in current Amazon listings (low-quality images, missing features). 2. Review mining (finding common complaints in 3-star reviews for existing products). Community Question: What was the single most effective place you found inspiration for your first profitable product? (e.g., Pinterest trends, Alibaba search, finding an item you personally use that could be improved). Any tips for avoiding product paralysis?

@Germain Uscanga Dude Wipes is a perfect example, totally changed the category. I really appreciate the Strategic Warning, though. It’s easy to get carried away with a 'cool' idea and forget the data. Could you explain a bit more about how you personally execute Cross-Demand Validation? Are you looking for specific search volume keywords that bridge the two worlds, or are you running small ad tests before going all-in?

@Germain Uscanga That is completely fair. I respect that high-level systems like that are built through experience and aren't easily summarized in a few sentences. It’s a great reminder that 'intent' is the real driver behind the data. I’ll keep focusing on the fundamentals for now, but once I have a solid data set for a specific niche, I'd love to circle back and see if your framework is something you ever consult on! Thanks
