Well done to everyone for an excellent Blitz! My Blitz didn't go quite as planned (but then a cancer diagnosis mid-month has a way of reshuffling your priorities). BUT! And this is huge. I did manage to claw back my star, so I'm chuffed as Larry. (I assume Larry's chuffed... but who knows). What I didn't expect was how much the timing ended up mattering for my community. We spent May doing a deep dive into practice mindset, which already had everyone getting pretty vulnerable about the horrible things we say to ourselves as creatives. So when I found myself being more open with my community than usual about what I was going through personally, it didn't feel out of place. It felt like it fit. Man. I have worked so hard on my humble little community. And with today's update to Discovery, I've dropped from #32 to #79 in Music, and am not even showing up on the Music category's 3 pages at all... when a rival group that has been really unpleasant to me is now. It's breaking my heart. I have put so much of myself into this and once having that little star next to my name was such validation. I had lost it, but only just. But now... f*ck man. Has really taken the wind out of my sails.

Yo! I've got so many amazingly engaged members and our Community board is lively and buzzing. But I still have SOOOO many members that just join, and then completely disappear. They're not even lurking (last login days are in the hundreds in some cases). Anyone have some tips on what to do? I've tried a series of various DM follow ups, and just end up with a one-sided chat. Seems sad.
