Hormonal health
"My goal is to get below 60 kg, but I’ve been struggling for a long time due to hormonal imbalances. I suspect I have high cortisol, estrogen dominance, and possibly some degree of insulin resistance. Despite eating less and exercising consistently, my body seems to be stuck in 'starvation mode'. It holds on to fat no matter what I do. Over the years, I’ve tried several diets, but they either made me feel worse or slowed down my metabolism even more. I often feel tired, cold, and bloated, and my weight barely moves. I believe my metabolism has adapted to chronic stress and under-eating, making it extremely difficult to lose fat, especially around my belly and thighs. That’s why I’m now exploring a more fruit-based, pro-metabolic approach – one that supports hormone balance, nourishes the body with easy-to-digest carbohydrates, and helps lower stress hormones like cortisol. I hope this way of eating – high in fruit sugars, with moderate protein and low fat – can help regulate my hormones, improve my thyroid function, and gently support fat loss without pushing my body into further stress. Anyonse succes with healing such issues?

@Gwen Vanderkerken hey Gwen, I’m happy that this insight resonated with you 😊! I can get on a private call with you if that feels aligned, as there is no way that I can break it all down over a message. This is a process that will span several months and includes a variety of factors! 🙏🏼

@Shelley Ellin Shelly I love your desire to implement some easy/practical Feng Shui tools ☯️ For me its been a long journey of applying different principles of Feng Shui and natural energetics in my home environment, so that the overall energy flows better! It does sound like you are applying some of this already in your home environment but not calling it “feng shui” 😉 The main things I focus on are clutter which blocks chi, doorway obstructions, orientation, colour, placement, and intention. These all matter along with the natural intuition one has in their environment. Would love to explore this deeper with you.
Mango Skin & Allergies
Hello beautiful souls! I recently came across some information that mangos are in the same plant family as poison ivy — and it caught my attention because a few people who’ve seen my posts about eating mangoes mentioned having allergic skin reactions after touching the skin of the fruit. I’m so curious… is there a deeper reason for this? Has anyone else experienced something similar or have insight into why this happens?

@Terry Brancati what an incredible journey you’ve had with mangos 🥭 truly mind blowing 🤯 with the difference between the organic fruit without synthetic chemicals being sprayed on them. This is a true testimony to the work of cleaning the body out — so that you are able to eat non-organic now 🔥✨ So helpful for people to get a clear picture of what’s happening and that they can overcome allergies naturally 🙌🏼
Teeth Sensitivity
Hello lovely souls! I’ve noticed my teeth are slightly more sensitive than normal. Is this common when increasing fruit intake?

This is a helpful post Alexandria, it’s definitely normal to have a slight tooth sensitivity when increasing fruit intake, especially when in a detox or transition to a high-fruit, raw diet. 😉 I’ve definitely dealt with this myself and it was quite unpleasant especially the irritation on the nerves I had from several fruits. Citrus, pineapple, berries, and unripe fruits are naturally acidic before metabolized and if your enamel is already thin (from prior poor diet, dental work, or past stress), acid can temporarily irritate nerve endings. With some astringent fruits they can pull on the lymph waste around the head/neck/teeth. This can stir up localized inflammation, especially if there’s trapped acidity in that local area. The mouth can be used as an elimination or exit point for some acids. Also having an underlying mineral deficiency which can show up as low calcium, magnesium or silica can be a factor. This is also related to utilization by the body. Genuine baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) rinses can be helpful for the mouth, some people use coconut oil pulling. I also like chewing on greens like parsley. This can eventually improve on your journey 🙏🏼
Blueberries - Acidic Reaction??
Hey! I have a question pertaining to why I sometimes have a reaction when I eat blueberries. Not sure if it’s just with blueberries, but I’m wondering if high acidic fruits are triggering a reaction in my mouth, but I do notice sometimes that they’re swelling and sensitivity when I eat blueberries specifically Any suggestions or reasoning as to why?

Hey Alexandria! I totally get the sensation you’re talking about 😅 First, I want to ask if they are fully ripe blueberries that you’re eating? 🫐 Second, are they organically grown blueberries? Third, similar to what Aline mentioned about the sub acidic fruits and detox. 👉🏼If your mouth tissues are acidic or inflamed, even mildly acidic fruits can trigger discomfort. 👉🏼Swollen gums or tender spots after acidic fruit may reflect tissue sensitivity. 👉🏼If you’re actively detoxing, your body may be pushing acids and lymphatic waste out through the mucous membranes which can include your mouth and gums. 👉🏼Astringent fruits like blueberries can stimulate this elimination, leading to temporary irritation or swelling. It could be helpful to swish Aloe Vera juice or Marshmallow root tea in your mouth to soothe the tissues 😊
