Halo Head started out as one girl… One song… Sung by one man. One heart. One hope. One prayer. And one quiet question to one friend… "Hey… who’s she?" But somewhere along the way, Halo Head became more than music. More than lyrics. More than an album. It became a story about faith, timing, connection, and the way certain people can walk into your life and completely change its direction without even trying. Halo Head is still about one girl. The girl. The one. And I’m still just one man with one heart, one hope, and countless prayers that, somehow, are being answered one by one. There’s a scripture in The Book of Mormon that says: > “Ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.” — Ether 12:6 At first, that verse drove me insane. Because faith is difficult when your heart is already completely invested. When every emotion feels heightened. When you care so deeply it almost overwhelms you. But now… I understand it a little better. Because sometimes the witness comes slowly. In quiet moments. In trust. In peace. In laughter. In hands almost touching. In souls slowly learning each other. And when it finally arrives, it feels like light breaking through after the longest storm. Hearts draw close. Souls combine. And somewhere in the middle of all of it… the spark of a future ignites. — Al Rafael / Halo Head
