I'm setting the bar really low for myself. My initial goal is to be making $1,000 per month from Amazon KDP in 6 weeks' time. Why $1,000? Although $1K per month may not seem a big amount, it'll be life-changing for me because I'm in Malaysia. The exchange rate from US dollar to my currency works in my favor. $1,000 per month is enough to let my wife quit her job (which she hates) and still improve our lifestyle. Here's the breakdown: Monthly target: $1000 Daily target: $1000/30 = $34 Copies per day: 6 copies per day (assuming $6 profit per book) With 6 books: 1 copy per book per day So my goal is to publish 1 book per week for the next 6 weeks.
