Electrolytes
I'm drinking water, but I sweat a lot! Got home from practice the other day and sitting down in the recliner and my hands started cramping, bad!! Called my sister, who is a nurse and she said it was from a electrolyte imbalance and/or dehydration. She told me to throw some salt in my next water bottle for a quick fix but to get some electrolytes and mix with water. My question to you guys and gals, what are you doing for electrolytes??????

I put a tsp of Redmond real salt in my drink bottle. The Redmond relyte capsules are also excellent

Just want to shout out my client Nick who is a freaking stud. He gave me permission to tell his story. 🗣 I met Nick when he was depressed due to his weight. Him and I start working 4 months ago and now hes 56 lbs down!! Man has been consistently doing carnivore 🥩 and his training routine💪🏾. Carnivore is AMAZING if you put the work in! Who works out fasted or do you eat before?

I always work out fasted. I recently did 5 marathons on 5 consecutive days during a 5 day fast. Nothing but water and salt the entire time. I did it to demonstrate that the amount of energy we have available is orders of magnitude more than everyone believes think.

@Megan Casey interesting. Another example of high performance whilst fasted is Ryan Talbot who competes in the decathlon for Team USA. He’s carnivore and is fasted for the entire 2 day competition. He runs a 10.6 second 100m sprint
Endurance / Ultra Marathon Runners & Carnivore
Does anyone in the group run Marathons or Ultras and if so how do you feel on the carnivore diet? Any perspective and advice is welcome. Just signed up for my first half marathon trail run and I’m going to build to a 100 Mile Ultra and all I see on the videos I watch about the races are these guys eating candy and noodles and shit ton of carbs…. 😜😅 I'm gonna assume there is a lot of traditional nutritional advice around that community…..

Yep. As a carnivore I did 5 marathons in 5 days completely fasted. 212km on nothing but salt and water. I did it to demonstrate that carbs are not necessary and to show the magnitude of energy that is unlocked when you are fat adapted. I’d never run a marathon before doing this either. I’d be happy to help you out
