Welcome to the AdvisorTechBook community! I'm building out this community as an on-going companion to the infamous AdvisorTechBook I published in Feb. 2025 I love AdvisorTech and I love reading books... hence "AdvisorTechBook" 🎯 My goal here is first and foremost is to build upon the Kitces AdvisorTech map by providing recorded demos, peer reviews, peer tech stacks, podcasts, and just about everything else related to the AdvisorTech space. So, here’s the truth… I'm a former “yes man” at a massive private-equity-backed RIA who rose quickly, burned out, ditched the fluorescent office lights for a backpack, wandered around Southeast Asia for a while, and somehow stumbled my way back into the industry after someone planted a seed and placed a bet on me long before they had any proof it would grow. These days I help advisors untangle their CRM and streamline their processes —apparently I have just the right amount of undiagnosed OCD to organize the chaos many advisors have learned to live with - so it naturally evolved to become my passion. Who doesn't love getting things done without duplicating the same info in 5 different systems? I joined the community because I love people; if I can take something overwhelming, messy, or endlessly postponed and help point someone in a direction that feels simple and doable, that’s a good day in my book. I’d love to see the inside scoop on what’s actually working for people—not the shiny ‘latest and greatest’ stuff, but the behind-the-scenes wins that genuinely make life easier. If I’m really lucky, I hope to be able to give more of that kind of ‘inside scoop’ to the community than I absorb. Cheers everybody 😌
