🖥️ One Private Mentoring Spot Available This Month
I have room for one new one-on-one mentoring client during October. This spot is for a coach, author, creator, consultant, or solopreneur who has something meaningful to build but needs experienced guidance, clearer priorities, and a practical way forward. We can work on the issues most relevant to you, including: • Clarifying your direction and offers • Strengthening your online presence • Developing content and marketing strategies • Organizing scattered ideas into an achievable plan • Working through technology or implementation obstacles • Using A.I. as a natural, conversational business partner • Moving past procrastination, overwhelm, or self-doubt This is not a standardized program built around someone else’s formula, course, or content. Our work will begin with where you are, what you want to accomplish, and what is presently standing between the two. You will receive private, one-on-one guidance shaped around your business, experience, resources, and preferred way of working. My role is to help you see the situation clearly, make sound decisions, and turn each of your stumbling blocks into stepping stones. The investment is US$249 per month, includes a one hour Zoom call each week, available daily communication as required, and key study and support materials. Only one spot is currently available. If you have been trying to work everything out alone, this may be the right time to bring an experienced guide into the conversation. Send me a private message and tell me briefly what you are working on and where you feel stuck. We can then determine whether working together would be a good fit.

I will consider this next year. Currently I am unable to do Zoom calls, or any video for that matter. But I believe it would be good for me.

It is the company where I am currently working - I cannot stream video. The contract will be over in December, so next year works for me. I am currently offshore and the network is slow and routinely drops out. Also while working I would not have time to properly implement your recommendations.

@Lynne Vella Thank you, yes, I wanted to be a part of skool cafeteria, and then got the job so I am limited in my participation right now, but follow as much as possible. Great to see you here.

📌 From Prompting to Partnership
There is no question that AI tools, apps, and specialized workflows can save time. If they help you produce better work more efficiently, they have real value. However. I think there is something even more powerful. Conversation. When we reduce A.I. to filling in prompts or answering a series of questions, we often receive exactly what we asked for. And we know we need to be careful of that! When we engage in a genuine conversation, something different happens. Ideas evolve. Assumptions are challenged. Blind spots become visible. Unexpected connections appear. The result is typically better than the question we started with. That has been my experience. I rarely, if ever, begin with a carefully engineered prompt anymore. I begin with a conversation, sharing my thoughts, my concerns, my goals, and sometimes simply my curiosity. Together, the A.I. and I explore possibilities that neither a rigid prompt nor a predefined app could ever have anticipated. Apps are excellent at producing predictable results. Conversation is where discovery lives. That is why I encourage people to stop thinking of A.I. as just a machine that follows instructions and start thinking of it as a thinking partner that helps them refine their own ideas. For me, that has been the biggest shift of all. Stop prompting. Start conversing.

@Stephen B. Henry Sorry, yes, I agree with you. I do now treat my AI as a collaborative partner. But in the initial set up I treated it as a new hire. So I needed to teach it everything about me and the way I do things. Which is the Skills department in Claude. However I do find that it does miss things that it should catch, and I have to verify. Which is normal, just saying. I have recently learned I need to set up more of a feedback loop with my AI, so it will recheck again and again. I will see if that is successful.

@Dan Murray I agree with you. It can be very useful once you start allowing it to contribute to the thought process.

Dubbed "The Time Bandit" a local man was found with his house filled with old clocks and expensive watches, allegedly stolen from across five states. I would say they caught him just in time!

📌 The Problem with One-Size-Fits-All Solutions
One of the most common messages in marketing today is surprisingly simple: "This one thing will solve your problem." Sometimes it is a course. Sometimes it is an app. Sometimes it is an AI tool. Sometimes it is a business model. The promise is always the same. "Do this one thing and everything else will fall into place." The problem is that life rarely works that way. Imagine visiting a doctor and being told that every patient receives exactly the same prescription, regardless of their symptoms. We would walk out. Yet we often accept that same thinking in business. The truth is that people arrive with different experiences, different goals, different resources, different personalities, and different obstacles. Someone struggling with procrastination does not need the same solution as someone struggling with confidence. A coach just starting out does not need the same advice as someone with twenty years of experience. A business with no customers has very different challenges than one struggling to scale. Real progress begins when we stop looking for the solution and start looking for the right solution. That is why I have never believed in solving every problem with a single course, a single app, or a single strategy. I believe in understanding the person first. Then finding the next practical step that helps them move forward. Sometimes that step is learning a new skill. Sometimes it is changing a habit. Sometimes it is asking a better question. Sometimes it is simply having a conversation. There are universal principles. There are very few universal solutions. Perhaps the best guides are not the ones who already have all the answers. Perhaps they are the ones who know how to help people find the answer that fits their situation. Because in the end... One size rarely fits all. But the right fit changes everything. The time to find yiur guide is before you get lost in the woods! 👉 https://www.skool.com/your-pathway-to-growth-5059

I agree with Dan, you make a very good point, and your health analogy is spot on. We would not accept a blanket fix for health. (It doesn't exist yet, though I live in hope). So many business related sites tell us they have our solution - without even understanding who we are. Pathetic.
