Off-leash reward.
Off-leash is not freedom first. It’s calm first. In this clip, the dog waits. The reward is the release — not the run itself. Calm state, then freedom to smell, move, explore. Most mistakes happen when we release excitement. That only reinforces chaos. Structure the release. Wait. Guide. Then allow. 👉 How do you handle off-leash time with your dog?

Off-leash reward.
Motivation be Discipline
I have just realized something. Inspiration and motivation are NOTHING compared to unrelenting daily discipline. Motivation and inspiration are human emotions. Discipline is action. It’s now. What are you doing right now to improve your situation? What are your daily thoughts? Are you just aimlessly looking for inspiration or are you taking action? This is one of my favorite quotes3 “the battle must be fought anew every day.” -Stephen Pressfield What’s you’re favorite quote right now?

@Sarah Boomsma hey Sarah, im working on putting together some step by step instructions on routines and calm rituals you can practice with Oliver to start changing his state of mind. Just a few questions. 1. Does he get excited when the leash comes out or does he avoid the leash? 2. How often are the walks and what state of mind is Oliver during walks? (excited puller, anxious, fearful, alert) 3. Does he behave the same toward people? 4. How is he at feeding time? Does he guard his food?

@Sarah Boomsma the morning walk is honestly the most crucial routine to establish with your dog/s. It reset not only their mind but yours as well.
