Hey everyone. I had a really good reminder earlier today while talking with one of my business partners, Pete Pagano (who, by the way, I hope you all get to meet at some point; he'll be doing some courses here in finance). The reminder was in regards to allowing small decisions to fester. They don't necessarily become huge problems in the sense that they create a disaster or a wildfire in the business, but instead, they create an accumulation of stress and a nagging weight that they add to your day-to-day. Oftentimes, this is just in the background, not necessarily even something you're staring at, but it accumulates into something much more deleterious and negative for your business. So, get good at being shrewd and making decisions, especially the ones that are small and relatively easy, similar to the example in the video I'm posting here. Doing this will help you tremendously in making larger decisions, being confident, and taking action. I think what holds so many businesses back is leadership's fear of taking action and the fear of the unknown outcomes that their actions will bring about. We end up atrophying and being biased towards theory or thinking as opposed to doing. Like I always say: be biased towards action. Making those small decisions a reflexive part of your business will help speed things up and empower you to make the bigger decisions. Not to mention, you'll avoid the accumulation of stress that having unmade decisions on your plate causes. What are the decisions that you have been putting off? And why? Why are you putting them off? Is there really a good reason?
