Dual Half Hitches, Wilson Pro Knot, Parnell Knot, Starting Knot - what do people like to use, when and why?

What do folks do regarding Hybrid String pricing? What do you do with the half string sets from packs that aren't used? Do you hold those or have the customer hold them for their next string job? Do you end up with a lot of half string packs waiting forever? Do you charge pack pricing for strings that you have on reels? Do you share the savings with customers or is that part of profits?

Sometimes it makes more sense to buy string sets vs reels due to cost or use case. Let's discuss the pro's and con's?

If you have any great resources for finding inexpensive reels for practicing stringing, please post. I would recommend nylon or synthetic gut first when starting out and when working on weaving techniques as it is easier to install!
