I have a question: I opened a bank account with Mercury. As a non-US citizen, do I need to fill out a W8-BEN form and upload it to Mercury? Can you help me with this? Thank you.

Penalty for private use
Hi guys! I just received a letter in my business mail (Earthclass) from the IRS with the words "Penalty for private use $300" printed on the outside. Unfortunately, I couldn't scan it to open it. I'm not sure what it could be about. I recently established my company in the US, and I haven't conducted any business yet. I mean, literally, I haven't done anything. Do any of you have a clue what this could be? How can I verify if it's legitimate or if I need to pay it?

Hi everyone! I have a question. Do I need an accountant if I'm running campaigns on Kickstarter? Every three months, the funds go to my Mercury bank account, and from there, I transfer them to my Romanian bank account. So every three months, there are two transactions: income and an outgoing transfer. If I do need one, can you suggest an accountant in the state of Delaware? Also, could you provide me with pricing information?

147C letter??
Does anyone know why I can't receive the 147C letter from the IRS? I've been trying to call them for days, tried with different fax numbers, and still nothing. I used my Romanian fax number with the country code, but still received nothing. I tried using a third-party service, but it didn't work either. I even created an American fax number with Fax.Plus, but still no luck. Does anyone have a solution?

Finally, they sent me the 147C letter. I tried various methods, and ultimately found success with Fax.Plus, where I obtained an American fax number. I called 1 (800) 829-4933 and had to request the letter three times. Initially, they were reluctant to send it to me. On the second and third attempts, despite waiting for 20-25 minutes each time, I did not receive the letter. They advised me to wait up to 24 hours for its arrival. Surprisingly, I received the letter after 3 hours.
