Planting bananas
Step 1, choose the biggest pup, this way the mother plant will have more energy to produce better bananas. Step 2, using a banana spade (post hole spade), first cut the pup from the mother then dig around the pup. Step 3, lever the pup out of the ground. Step 4, after hole is dug, fill with half soil, half compost and plant pup cut side facing South. When the pup is conected to the mother, the pup will produce fruit opposite to the mother so always face cut side opposite to sunny side to maximize fruiting conditions. Mulch will be appreciated and keep the soil from drying out and condition the earth.
