Welcome! 👋 This community is for solo developers and tiny teams building real software with AI. The way we build software is changing quickly. AI coding assistants can write code, explore a codebase, generate tests, work with APIs, and even carry out multi-step engineering tasks. But there's a catch: Using AI to write more code isn't the same as becoming an AI-native engineer. The interesting question is how we change the engineering process itself: → How do we turn product ideas into clear specifications AI can actually work with? → How do we structure codebases so AI agents can navigate and modify them safely? → How do we use agents without losing control of architecture and quality? → How do we build automated quality gates instead of manually reviewing everything? → How can a solo developer build software that previously required a whole team? That's what we'll explore here. The goal isn't to replace engineering discipline with AI. It's to combine engineering discipline + AI agents + modern cloud infrastructure into a new way of building software. I'll be sharing the actual process I'm using to build a SaaS product—from product specs and architecture through frontend, backend, cloud deployment, testing, and AI-assisted development. No hype. Just build → test → learn → iterate. If you're building something with AI, introduce yourself below. 👇 What are you building, and where are you currently stuck?
