First image from my upcoming short film “SOUNDCHECK” Instead of turning on all the ceiling lights in this basement, we just blasted a warm light at the top of the stairs… So that when the main character heads up… we see his silhouette. An even lit image would appear flat - But being intentional with lighting was key because now it feels like we are entering the main characters mind. We def had some obstacles yesterday which was day 1 of filming but we pulled through! More updates otw.

I want to share something powerful that just happened. I posted a reel I actually made back in June — something I almost never posted because I thought it wasn’t “good enough.” (VFX RAIN VS REAL RAIN) Fast forward six months later… and it became one of my best-performing pieces of the past 3 months. That blew my mind. Not because of views… Not because of likes… But because of what people responded to. People didn’t freak out because it was VFX. They didn’t care that it looked “cool.” They connected because it was handmade, Intentional and Human. It reminded me of something important we all need to hear: People are starving for real creativity again. Not automation. Not soulless spectacle. Not “AI magic.” They want to see: • Problem solving • Storytelling • Craft • Decisions • Humanity They want to feel your fingerprints on your work.... And honestly… I think that’s SUPER exciting for us Nex-Gen!!! Because that means: - Skill still matters - Taste still matters - Vision still matters - YOU still matter We are entering an era where authentic, human-built creation becomes premium again. And I want all of us in here to win because of that. So here’s my challenge to you: Don’t chase perfection. Chase honesty. Make things that feel like YOU. Document your thought process. THIS IS HUGE. Show your imperfections. Show your problem-solving. The world needs creators — not button pushers... We’re building something special here.
