Hello world! I am getting deeper and deeper into he Openclaw blackhole and learning a lot of things. some that excite me and some that ruin my mood on a daily basis. I will list them down and I am happy to hear your comments in case you have any suggestions: 1. CONTEXT: This is the first limit I encountered. Even if my Bot deploys sub agents, eventually its context will get high. In these situations I have it compact he information gathered and move on to a /new session 2. LLM COOLDOWN (kimi k2): recently my main bot wouldn't go on cool down but the subagents would. This doesnt really make sense and I still haven't found a way to fix it 3. MEMORY: this is a big one. I often give him instructions that he ALWAYS needs to apply ex:'from now on when I say x you do x'. He does it but when the new session starts he forgets it. So to fix it we created a PERMANENT file in which he puts all the permanent information. Now when I need something to be permanent I just add 'permanent' at the beginning or the end of the prompt. I feel like this kind of works but also that its not the proper way. Everyone I see on youtube just asks their agent to behave a certain way and they remember. 4. Because I have this memory issue, we started creating different files for him to remember different things. I might need assistance on setting this up. BONUS QUESTION lol: what local llm would you suggest hat is really good? I was thinking to get deepseek r1 but feel free to make your suggestions!

I see a companion app on openclaw website. is this the way to install Open Claw? or i still need to do it manually on the terminal?

HEY GUYS, since @Eddy H mentioned this issue with spawning sub agents and since I had the same issue a couple of days ago, I wanted to share this SUB AGENT DELEGATION RULE prompt to send your bot. This pretty much fixed the issue for me. If you encounter and further problems of for example, your bot spawning an agent and the agent not being able to complete a task due to context being full, specify to your bot to spawn more agents when needed and save this information in the delegation rule: give your bot this exact command: ''follow this Sub-Agent Delegation Rule every session and always apply before answering: If a task takes more than 10 seconds to complete, spawn a sub-agent to handle it. Don't block the main session. Why: I need to stay available. While a sub-agent researches, builds, or processes something, I can keep chatting with you or spin up other sub-agents in parallel. How it works: • Quick answers, lookups, small edits → do it directly • Research, builds, long file operations, API calls → spawn a sub-agent • Multiple tasks? Multiple sub-agents. Run them in parallel. Always: • Tell me what sub-agent you're spinning up and what it's doing • Ping me when it's done with the result • Keep the main thread responsive Save this rule and apply it every session.''
