If you are not the target customer you are selling to, you need to find a person who is the ideal customer and get them onboarded with your vision and dream. I found one and we ended up making him a co founder of Opulence, and it has proved to be a great decision so far. Hey everyone, My name is Michael Carey, and I'm a junior at the Kelley School of Business, studying Information Systems and Business Analytics. I just wanted to properly introduce myself and thank you for putting this community together. I’ve been following Aidan's YouTube channel for a little while, and his focused approach on the construction industry is exactly what I'm striving for with my own venture, NextGen AI. I started back in July, and I've been doing a lot of custom, one-off automation jobs for various clients. While the hands-on experience has been great, my goal is to pivot towards developing more repeatable, productized solutions. Seeing Aidan's work on AI estimators and quoting agents has been a huge inspiration for making that shift. My background is in the construction industry (my dad is a safety consultant for GCs), so I'm constantly seeing the real-world need for the systems you are making. My co-founder Ben and I have created this community for a couple reasons. 1. We believe there is still so much to be created still in the space . 2. There is not enough education around creating AI systems that must operate past a client or YouTube demo. 3.
