BALANCE IS A LIE
This is a sneak peek of my tomorrow's post in my community: Every Skool community I'm in, is talking about balance, that it's very important. Even my family don't understand me, they think I'm crazy, but I'm not the only one... After studying the most successful people on the planet, they say a whole other story! First of all It depends on what you want in life: Do I want to be the greatest in my field or just an average Joe? Secondly To master a skill it takes an average of 10,000 Hours. I can either "balance" my time that I spend working on the skill OR I can work day in day out on my project/dream or whatever that excites me. If it's my passion, and I'm having fun doing it, why would I need balance? Who do you think is getting there first? Imagine this graph goes to level 10 expert (see image) Yes it's hard, but more that I work on the skill the better I get. The better I get, the bigger the challenges. The more I level up, the easier it gets to do lower level work. After a long period of time, everything will be so easy, and everyone will be asking how you did it. It's the daily grind. Removing distractions to make place for actions. Would you like to live the dream? or prefer continue dreaming about it? It's about finding something that I'm good at and sticking with it! One day I'll look back and be proud of myself that I dedicated so much time leveling up. Let's find what you're good at (Link to a survey on my page to discover your strengths)and remove all the distractions (link to courses) that are keeping you for achieving your goals! "If you want to be the best, you have to do things that other people aren't willing to do," - Michael Phelps(28 Olympic medals) Everyone starts at level 0, some are at level 4, some at level 8, but there is always place to improve. If you are ready to take control over your distractions and level up together, come and visit the community! It's completely free! If you join now I'll plan a call together and give you a free roadmap to achieve your goals!

All very valid points. Even Michael Phelps in his extreme training and his intense nutritional regimen - was balanced. That might be hard for some people to understand. Yet, if he was out of balance he would not have been able to achieve what he achieved. Balance is an internal state, not so much external in my opinion but for beginners, they have to start learning about balance from an external state. From my belief system and my study of physics... over time, on average, everything balances out... even water.
🪄🕯️ What I Learned Building the 7 Steps of Return to Stillness
Over the past few weeks I’ve been building a series of practices called Return to Stillness. It started simply as a way to answer a question people ask me often: what do I actually mean when I say “return to stillness”? As I began putting together a few small practices to demonstrate the process, something interesting happened. The pieces naturally organized themselves into a sequence — seven small steps the body can follow when the mind is busy and the nervous system feels tight. What surprised me most wasn’t the structure itself. It was how simple the process became once I stopped trying to force it. Sometimes the most meaningful frameworks don’t appear all at once. They emerge quietly, step by step, as you follow what the work itself is trying to show you. If anyone is curious about the practices themselves, I shared the first Return to Stillness practice in my free community today. You’re welcome to explore it here: Soul Growth Circle

@Carol Tice Oh Carol - that is so dysregulating. My heart holds space for you as you are going through this. Saying prayers for your sister, too.

@Carol Tice let's all focus our intention on openness, freedom, airplanes gently taking off from the airport... focused intention can do a lot. Prayer, too - always prayer.

It's time to share with your fellow members someone who you think is doing an amazing job in their community to help others! It can be a community that you are a part of or the community of someone you've met on Skool who you know deserves to be spotlighted. Please do NOT just drop a link. Here's the drill: 1. Leave your affiliate link (if you have one) in the comments below NOT in a new post. 2. Tag or mention the person who is the community owner. Also, send them a DM letting them know you mentioned them here - you'll brighten their day! 3. Include a description of who the group is for and why it is so amazing. And not necessarily in that order! Reminders: 1. Today is the last day to watch the What Makes a Course Successful masterclass. It's in the pinned posts and it's getting great reviews! 2. Today is also the last day to submit an application for the VIP tier of the Classifieds. Happy Friday all!

I'd like to bring attention to Cindy Shultz' group. Love Our Laughter I feel lighter every time I engage with her group or engage in her exercises. Really just a lovely soul on the planet. https://www.skool.com/love-our-laughter-wellness-5520/about?ref=4eda0ac6eb6b4b558dc0e053289e3886 Excerpts from her about page: 😄Love Our Laughter😄 is for growth-oriented women who've done the inner work but want a lighter, more sustainable way to stay emotionally resilient. She uses Laughter Yoga as a science-backed, body-based practice to regulate your nervous system and build joyful resilience. This isn't entertainment or a quick fix. It's about building joy as a lived practice that supports you through real life. Self-identified women and woman-aligned non-binary folks welcome. 💛

@Julianne Anderson has one of the most amazing communities. I enjoy Ricochet so much. The people, the shared memories, the artifacts, the learning, the kindness.... It is just a place I like to visit every day. Check out her community. It is free and fun and informational. There are even these giveaways for really cool things from yesteryears with a cool spinny wheel to determine the winner of the drawings. Julianne is one of the people on the planet I adore - and we have never met each other. Just good people. She also has another group (Retro Riches Archive) that is of historic proportions. I do not even know how she does it all.
The WATERCOOLER Drop-In Social is Today!
Our drop-social, which I am now affectionately referring to as the WATERCOOLER, is happening tomorrow. How it works: the Skool meeting room is open for 6 hours, and you can drop in or out as you are available. You might drop in to chat with 10 people, or you might be the only one there - that's part of the fun! To increase the likelihood of meeting people, tag them, send them a DM inviting them, or do as others like to do and take a screenshot of whoever you are chatting with, post it in the community, and invite others to join you. After the Frenzy today where you are making tons of connections and getting to know more people, why not drop in to the WATERCOOLER tomorrow and get to know each other more? Check the calendar for more information on times in your location!

I'm Julianne and I'm just crazy about history. I have 2 communities on skool. The first is Ricochet. I share nostalgia and practice Dostadning, which is the Swedish phenomenon of “death cleaning”. I have a map where I add all the places on the planet that my "treasures" have gone. I offer glimpses of things in my home, the history, and traditions. Retro Riches Archive is my legacy. Centuries of artifacts being preserved and shared. You can use them in creative projects or sell as digital products. Make Print on Demand products that are vintage inspired. Learn something new. Here is my Facebook profile where I share both. https://www.facebook.com/CelebrateVintage
