Excitedly sharing the news of my Betta's first bubble nest. My previous betta was unfortunately sick from the day I got him so I never got to see him at this stage of life, but noticed the nest this morning and fell in love just a little bit harder.
Apologies, I ended up getting busy, but have found myself with some free time, and want to work on the courses I mentioned in the post. I know I'm not a large community yet, but still want input, so should I do a small, follow up maintenance course next, or a betta-specific guide?
@Lexi Oliver I think I once saw an online documentary of them being sold in permanently sealed keychains. Like a tiny pocket of water thats sealed shut. Its ridiculous how abusive things have gotten for betta. To my surprise, my cousin who didnt know much about them bought one and put it in his community tank, and it did perfectly fine. Since then I always add 1 male betta to all my community tanks and they get along great.
Heres my pride and joy, a 750g acrylic tank. I got super lucky finding it at an aquarium stores garage sale. Its mostly a cichlid tank but im super interested in learning about shrimp and hope to have a shrimp tank soon as well.
Thank you!!! I have a friend that was breeding shrimp them and selling to local fish stores. Is that something feasible/profitable or not worth the trouble you think?
