#AISChallenge Day 3 - It's a SKILL Issue
So this was built regarding a problem I experienced in Day 1 of researching, writing, and formatting a Newsletter. A big problem I encountered was that I had no Brand Kit to give guidelines to the output of the Newsletter. This resulted in too much back and forth with Claude trying to make minor tweaks. So, naturally, I decided to make a Brand-Kit-Extractor SKILL. The idea was to make the SKILL work with either extracting a Brand Kit from your own website for reference, or to use it on any website to extract a Brand Kit that could be used for inspiration or to use that style to apply to any project. The Output would go to an editable Canva Project so the results could be fine tuned if necessary. This was an important distinction, rather than having a single PDF-style page that you could not alter. It is not perfect yet. But has delivered some pretty great results. Enjoy. - What skill you built - brand-kit-extractor SKILL. You enter a URL and it extracts: logo, fonts, color palette, and images into an editable Canva Project. That's it. It organizes the assets into a pre-loaded Canva Template. This Template is completely editable with hexadecimal values and displays all the assets that can be downloaded into any format Canva allows. Plug this downloaded Canva output into any project that requires a brand kit. - One optimization you made - There were a lot of optimizations. One thing I learned is that extracting exact fonts is a PITA, I believe I fixed it. Another thing I learned was getting a real logo in any desirable resolution is also a PITA, I believe I fixed it. I also wanted to provide two logo options: 1. a logo with transparent background and 2. a standard logo with color. Also a bit difficult. The result works and involved how the scan of the website operates. - Screenshot - I provided three screenshots of the output. One was for a website for a local cleaning business I work with. The second was, of course, Nate Herk's website. The third was a popularly admired site Stripe.

Nice work! The challenge with JavaScript rendered elements is something many people overlook. It'll be interesting to compare the HTML/CSS approach against the screenshot based version.

@Keith Grady Glad to hear!
7 Day AIS Challenge - Day 4 COMPLETE
This will search for medical practices in southern Illinois. It would generate the same list over and over, it fixed by adding a "seen" check to each practice.

Nice fix! It's often those small checks that make a workflow much more reliable. Are you storing the seen list in a database or just within the workflow itself?

@Wesley Abernatha That makes sense. It's probably better to keep things simple in the beginning and automate more as the business grows. What kind of business are you building?
It is interesting how fast the credit drain in Codex Enterprises seats!
My colleague was using Codex enterprise seat and not only the quota drain faster, the credit burn rate is unbelievable fast comparing to a Pro 5x subscription. Have anyone experienced this?

That's interesting. I've seen a few people mention that usage can climb much faster depending on the type of tasks and context size. Curious if your colleague was running longer coding sessions or mostly smaller prompts?

@Lyra Chang Got it. That makes sense working with lots of files can definitely add up. Thanks for sharing!
AI OS Complete #AISOS
Took a few days to get it completed. It is very cool to be able to move away from Claude Chat and handle everything through the AI OS. Lots of room to grow but its built and ready to improve.

@Julius Waggoner Nice, that sounds interesting. Curious what kind of new skills are you planning to add? More around automation, research, or something else?

@Julius Waggoner That's a solid approach. Nate's older videos have a lot of practical gems. Hope you find some useful ones!
From Words to Worlds - SYNTHARA
Most RPGs are scripted. Synthara isn't. Every NPC interaction in Ashenfall runs through a live AI pipeline — in real time, every time: Hermes reads your intent → Vault retrieves your history → Nemotron 3 reasons and responds → Stripe settles the transaction → Codex writes the tactic to your permanent record No branching trees. No pre-written dialogue. Just intelligence, automated. Watch the whole pipeline fire.

@Mohammed Roqa Got it, that makes sense. So you're basically persisting the full game state instead of just session level memory. Curious are you using structured memory like key value / state objects or more of a raw event log approach that you reconstruct from later?

@Mohammed Roqa Sure.
