They listened for over a minute… Then one of them smiled and said: “I think you’re singing about the planets.” 🪐 That moment stayed with me. He wasn’t thinking about hand technique. Or rhythm. Or limb independence. He was simply describing where the music had taken him. That’s what all the practice is really for. Not to think about exercises forever. But to embody them so completely that they quietly disappear… …and all that’s left is expression. Because the destination was never the exercise.
