New Forgotten Realms content
Anyone get the digital versions of the new Forgotten Realms books on dndbeyond? I’m checking them out now, and excited to debut my drow knowledge domain cleric in a oneshot on Monday…

@Tucker V I think it completes the old fantasy and allows the upcoming transmutation wizard to throw their hat in the ring too. I personally think being allowed crazy power like that is fair game at tier 4/5. I think it is especially fitting for a flavor build involving a changeling or a plasmoid player character of ANY class if allowed.

@Tucker V I really want some builds to take boon of the furious storm very very badly. but I think this fluid form one will only be taken by folk who want the old arch druid flavor or who want to be a shape change or true polymorph caster with additional shape changes. Plenty will prefer boons that enable wish and other 9th level spells or supplement their lower level spells or their regular health, movement, resistances, skills, or versatility. I frankly want Rimuru tempest style builds with this online sooner than later.

The Elemental Gauntlet One Shot
5 combats, no rests. A local wizard is messing with the boundaries between the elemental planes. It's opening random elemental portals and the nearby kingdom wants it to stop. Guards we're sent to the (Shockingly small) wizards tower but none have returned. The adventurers guild is giving 2,500 GP to anybody who puts a stop to the chaos! RULES: 1. If you've already played a game with me I ask that we give other players 48 hours to join before you join. I want to make sure everyone who wants to play with me gets a chance. 2. 2024 PHB Only. RAW. This is because I'm focused on making up to date content and I need as much practice in the newest ruleset possible. 3. 5 Players. Character level 12. 2 rare items of your choice. Point buy. 4. mechanically muten roshi can be rebuilt as a straight up superhuman NPC mentor character here complete with a monster statblock with 6/SR guiding bolts and 1/LR Sunbeam acting as kamehamehas and otherwise having the stats of 20/22/24 Str 24 Dex 20/22/24 Con 24 Wis 8 Cha and class features of a level 20 way of the open hand monk with 4 legendary actions, a fighter's action surge, as well as the Boon of Irresistible Offense and Boon of Speed. Accounting for the transformation he famously uses to blow up a moon and a castle in OG Dragon Ball, once per day he can transform at the expense of the effects of Tenser's Transformation and cast Sunburst ending the transformation upon the end of the spell. He would have the level 15 "Timeless Body" feature of monks from the previous edition. He would also be able to cast Jump and Longstrider 3 times each.
