We know not everyone will agree with the changes, and some members have voiced concerns. That’s okay. But the goal is clear: to create a space where serious players can learn strategy, technique, improve their ELO scores, and grow—not just as chess players, but as thinkers. What’s Changing: - No more leaderboard gaming. Typing every number from1000 to 1” or spamming numbers doesn’t improve your chess. It distracts others—and it stops here. - No more Milo talk, F-bombs, or spam. We’re cracking down on non-chess content. If it doesn’t help someone become a better player, it doesn’t belong. - Zero tolerance for bullying or snide remarks. This includes mocking members for asking questions or pointing out distractions. Respect is non-negotiable. Yes, these rules might feel strict—but they’re here to protect the space for serious growth. When you invest time here, you should get results.
