Start my own business or work for another employer
Hi all, I am new to all this and don't really know anything about this role yet. For those of you who have been doing this for a bit. Is it better for someone like me to work for a remote dispatching company or bit the bullet and start an LLC? Thank you all for help! -Dylan

@Carla Mitchell yes, there are a ton of remote dispatch companies. Try indeed or LinkedIn and just search dispatch (location: remote).

Showed my spreadsheets, documents, and examples to two dispatchers that I know. They loved everything. They stated I just need one more document and that's to log the trucks I have or will obtain. Yes, I do have an example binder for how all paperwork is handled and properly done. I'm getting so close to being done with the first few steps of paperwork. 😮💨 How is everyone else coming along? Do you need any help or suggestions? 🤔😁

There was one section within this video that mentioned to update and add the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Do I create this on my own and upload it, or is this something I need to show to a lawyer first before I upload it? Does the logo need to be added to this?

@Carla Mitchell yes, but make sure it doesn't align with someone else's. Chatgpt is known for typing up similar things for people. I've saw it first hand while teaching.

@Carla Mitchell, yes, use your business name. Ask ChatGPT to avoid making it similar to others when generating both names. Request a Word document and review it for similarities during the grammar check, which has a small section at the bottom that scans all websites. If no issues are found, you're good to go. If similarities are detected, select all similar parts and have ChatGPT or Copilot rewrite them.
