Hello there, my name is Adrien and I'm from France. It's been almost two years since I started collecting at least one alt art card of each pokemon so that I can have a full alt arts pokedex! Of course, there is a lot of pokemons that don't have any existing alt card right now, but I'm sure one day they will all have one. I'm not collecting alt cards of the videogames gimmick (like mega-evolution, terracristal or dynamax) because I prefer to have arts that focus on the "real" pokemon. The card I own that I'm the most proud of, also the one that made me start my collection is the Giratina V alt from Lost Origins!

@Jesse Kroon Indeed, it was all right at the beginning but the cards price increased a lot since I started collecting. Before, I could easily get every alt I wanted from a new extension for less than a hundred euros. Now, some cards are worth more than a hundred when they come out so my hobby became much more expensive! When that's the case, I try to hope and wait till another alt card come out for that specific pokemon so I can still have one for the pokedex but at a lower price.
