I was in Bible study and this verse jumped out and grabbed me by the lashes 😮‍💨 📖 1 Peter 5:10: “After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace… will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.” Now let’s talk about it, sis 💅🏾 Because that “little while” be feeling like a lifetime when you’re living it. But what God calls temporary pain is usually producing permanent strength. That heartbreak. That betrayal. That dry season where nothing seemed to work… It wasn’t punishment. It was preparation. God didn’t forget you… He was fortifying you. You thought you were breaking, but baby… you were being built 🧱 Every tear you cried watered the very ground your restoration is growing from. And you can’t rush the restore. Because when God restores, He doesn’t bring things back the same way… He brings them back better. Ask Job. Ask Joseph.
