Just launched a new YouTube channel with 4 new videos on day one. 2 days in, most videos have zero impressions, thus zero views. Only 1 view for all 4 videos... What am I missing? - high video production ✔️ - eye-catching thumbnails ✔️ - curiosity headlines ✔️ - keyword optimization ✔️ (tubebuddy and vidiq) - channel optimization ✔️ (tubebuddy and vidiq) - targeted niche ✔️ Any ideas would be appreciated. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfHcxG4DCur-q33STAFI01Q

Hey Sythesizers, I havent been too active since joining but hoping to change that now. Excited to be here! To kick things off I wanted to share my current content multiplication process. Really curious to know how everyone approaches taking long form content and breaking it down into mid/short form video and text posts. What Tools? Hacks? Tips? have you discovered. Tools I use: - Notion - Adobe Premier Pro - Davinci Resolve - Descript - AutoPod - Canva - ChatGPT/Claude - Sked Social Below is my current process for podcast episodes. Long Form Video 1. Shoot long form episode 2. In Premier Pro I use AutoPod to do a rough cut. Export AAF file. 3. Import AAF to Davinci for final edit and color grade. 4. While in Davinci I take still images from the episode to use for Thumbnail and covers on IG/YT 5. Export Final Episode 6. While episode is exporting, create YT Thumbnail in Canva (Templated) 7. Import Final episode into Descript to produce transcription 8. Feed full transcript into ChatGPT to generate a YouTube Description. 9. Schedule episode to YT Short Form Video 1. Feed full transcript from Descript into ChatGPT to find notable quotes. I use these as a starting point to create shorts. These quotes can also double as X/threads post 2. Search for each quote in Descript and move into their own compositions 3. Use Descript to remove filler words, shorten gaps and fine tune to perfection. 4. In Descript I apply a template with color adjustments and caption styles and vertical crop. 5. Create IG/YT Short Thumbnail in Canva (Templated) 6. Add cover as first frame for each short. 7. Export shorts 8. Using the transcripts, use ChatGPT to produce a caption for each short. 9. Schedule shorts/reels/tiktoks Long Form Written: 1. Feed full transcript into ChatGPT to generate a blog article for website and LinkedIn Article Post 2. Feed full transcript into ChatGPT to generate a 2-3 threaded posts 3. Schedule posts Short Form Written 1. Feed full transcript into ChatGPT to as many tweets as possible. 2. Review tweets for quality, eliminate sub par content. 3. Schedule posts

I use most of the above plus Happy Scribe for video transcrition, VidIQ, BIGVU telepromter, and Opus Clips to turn long form videos into shorts

@Corey Bennett Boardman I write the script, record the talking head raw video, give it to my editor, upload to happy scribe once edited, post to YT, FB, etc.
I’m meeting some great people here and just wondered where we are all from! Hopefully we can have some in person meet ups 🙌🏼 I’ve seen a couple already 😏😎 PS. Heads up, we have a google map of where our synthesizers are, feel free to add yourself: https://www.skool.com/synthesizers/taking-over-the-world-how-to-join-the-synthesizer-map?p=87794b04

Today's call will be 2 hours early. If you don't know what I am talking about... Accountability call is 1h per week where people who want to create content hold each other accountable and share ideas We have been running them for about 1.5 years now we don't plan to stop anytime soon. The only reason for change is because I would have to wake up at 1AM for it. I can do it. But my performance as a host would be affected. Put emoji in the comments if you are planning to attend!

💯
You guys loved the last season of free mastermind calls, so we're bringing them back. These calls are a place for Synthesizers of all skill levels to come together and make magic happen. They're great for accountability, connecting with other Synthesizers, and brainstorming how to grow. - You can find call times in the Calendar. - @Wiktor Romanowicz will be hosting again. I will not be present. This is a place for you guys to meet, not for me to get involved. - Only available for members Level 3 or above. To give us a rough indication of interest, please comment "Attending" if you're planning on coming to one of these calls.

attending!
If anyone wants to take this exact plan and put it in their Google Calender that's fine by me and you will become hyper-productive. Let me share my Google Calendar and how I manage my daily schedule. I believe in setting specific rules for each section to maximize productivity and focus. For instance, during my focused work sessions, I ensure my phone is upstairs to minimize distractions. This simple rule has made a significant difference in my productivity. One crucial aspect of my planning is preparing for the next day's focused work blocks before going to bed. By having a clear plan of what I'll be working on, I can avoid wasting time pretending to work. Planning ahead allows me to jump right into the tasks without any unnecessary delays or decisions. To illustrate further, yesterday I dedicated an hour and a half to focused work in school-related tasks because I find it incredibly valuable. However, tomorrow, my focus might shift to a different area, and that's perfectly fine. The key is to adapt and allocate each block to a specific task or topic. If you leave a block labeled as 'workout,' you might end up spending 10 minutes deciding what exercise to do, and then you'll likely only half-heartedly complete it. To combat this, I recommend planning each workout session with a precise routine in mind. When you know exactly what you're doing in each block, you can fully commit and make the most out of your time. Of course, sometimes things happen that mean you have to change things but the point is you always know what you're doing and when these things outside of your control happen, you just get whatever it is done and get back to the schedule. For example, I see my friends sometimes as being social is incredibly important, I try and leave it for my day off but if there is some particular event or reason to see them on other days I'll weigh up whether it's worth attending or not and then write the day off. In summary, organizing my schedule with clear rules and specific plans for each block has significantly increased my productivity and effectiveness in managing my time. I encourage everyone to give this approach a try and see the positive impact it can have on your daily routine. I plan on staying on this schedule for at least a year. You can always change it as new things arise. A calenders not for life, it's not a dog haha.

Have you tried moving the meditate block to right before your focused work? Been doing TM for 7 or 8 years, 20 min twice per day... usually mornings and mid afternoons, I find that it clears the cogs and primes me for focused work
If you actually have a day scheduled in to recharge, you can't help but try and do things anyway. It's like you can't relax.

Yes, I tried that today, yet here I am reading the Skool feed...🤣
I hired a full-time video editor this week and I wanted to share my process in case anyone else found it useful. I’m already quite busy running several businesses, and I’m a 3/10 editor at best. I wanted to focus my energy on writing scripts and recording videos for the real estate coaching YT channel I’m launching. So I went looking to hire an editor. I looked at all the usual online suspects and decided to go for hiring from the Philippines. Many reasons for this; good English, good work ethic, high level of education, at a cost of 10-25% of the cost in the US. I’ve previously employed around 20 people from the Philippines: FB/Google ads, admin assistants, and even bookkeepers with masters in accounting. Some were with me for as long as 10 years. I’ll include a link to the job board I use below. I used a 4-step process that took 1 week to find several qualified individuals. I hired 1 for $1,200 per month for 40 hours per week (but got it to zero with Step 5). 1. Post a job (screenshot of post: https://www.screencast.com/t/2RjjmrD6oEjH) 2. Received 37 applicants. Review applicants, review their bio, review their portfolios, etc., and then invite all qualified applicants to interview via a test video edit. I gave them the raw footage for a 10-minute talking head video, with stop/starts, bad lighting, mistakes, with all the warts. I provided them with a few samples of creators I liked and minimal direction. I wanted to test their creativity and editing skills. I also offered to pay them, in advance, for 3 hours at the hourly rate from their profile. I did this to show that I’m serious and not looking for free work. I got 7 to agree to a test edit (6 completed the test, 1 was a no-show, I lost $25 on that one…). The most I paid was $30, the average was $23. (screenshot of invite: https://www.screencast.com/t/ks5ShMvFr) 3. Review the test video edits and invite the top 3 editors for 2nd round of test video edits. For the 2nd round, I wanted to test how well they understood & followed instructions, how well we could collaborate together, and if they were open or resistant to criticism. This was a very details list of instructions. (screenshot of instructions: https://www.screencast.com/t/1FSzECcpvO)

@Riley Caldwell that's called leverage, LOL It's what every business does, you pay your employees $20/hr, but charge $100/hr. for their services. 😂
i don't know if that's because i'm just overthinking it honestly maybe it's just weird seeing myself being myself or maybe i'm holding back just a slight bit,

I've posted this before... Check out Vihn Giang on YT, you can get most of his $500 course by watching his free videos, the interviews he’s done, and his keynote speeches, all on improving your communication skills. Here is his video on improving your speaking & presenting skills on video - https://youtu.be/YyWZmdkPfDM?si=nfML-G5Zaq2eGcvf And this is one of the best interviews he’s done - https://youtu.be/Uh0TpUG9y8Q?si=a_qDqOUJRoTL-8g6
I'm curious about how to improve my script reading skills. Do you have any tips or guidance you would share with me?

I got sucked down Russell Brunsons funnel and ended up with a 30 day free trial of his software clickfunnels 2.0. It looks and sounds like a pyramid scheme but then he's got a very good reputation so I'm in all honesty just incredibly confused. If someone could explain to me what it is, if they've done it and had success, do you need your own business to use it, would it work with youtube, just any information about it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance peeps!

It really depends on what you are looking for... I've been using click funnels for 5+ years, but pro going to shut it down soon, $100-300/mo. Skool has the course feature like CF, but better interface and community building. CF does not have a community option. Other than that, CF is just for building websites and sales funnels, most of which can be done for free or little cost on other platforms. Email/CRM integration is OK at best, high bounce rate, outdated interface. Free mailchip is better. Funny that you posted this, I was investigating this CF competitor just today, $37 one time, I'll see how it does - https://www.gopipelinepro.info/

@Danny Westwood interesting... but Go is $97/mo. vs. $37 one time for Pipeline
whenever i try to put myself into my dream avatar's shoes, it doesn't really feel as meaningful or as impactful as i'd expect. he lives an unproductive, addicted lifestyle but at the same time he sees no problem with all of his hedonistic habits.

Maybe reframe it as, remembering what it was like when you were in their shoes. There was probably a point that you said, enough, and you took steps to overcome. What was that moment like for you? What brought you to that point in time? Clearly, you are no longer there, since you're now trying to help others overcome. This should allow you to relate to your avatar. Yes, they may lead an unproductive, addictive lifestyle. Are they enjoying it? Are they sick and tired of it? Or maybe your avatar needs to change? rather than everyone who has an unproductive life, just those who are at the breaking point and are willing to do whatever it takes to get out, if only there was someone (you) to show them how... I’ve been in my field for 20 years, but I still remember what it felt like to feel like a failure and to be willing to do anything to get out. I happened to come across someone who mentored me and showed me the way. This experience allows me to relate to and speak to those I’m working with now.
Just yesterday, I watched Andrew's STOICISIM guide and I felt intrigued by Negative visualization. That being the case, I wanted to put it into practice. But the issue is, Every time I try to visualize losing something, I don't really feel a thing, Instead I start to anticipate What I would do to make the best of the situation. Now I'm contemplating weather this is a good or a bad thing. I've gone as far as to visualize having a kid and him being disappointed me but then my mind starts thinking of how to fix it, making it impossible for me to actually visualize the said thing.

There is a similar concept on the "5 things you hate," writing down the five most negative things in your life: work, personal finance, debt, weight, relationships, etc., then comparing these to your goals list, are they aligned with your goals, do your goals directly address the negatives in your life. (from "life in half a second" Matthew Michaelwicz)
