Potential skyrocket cards
I propose build a post where everyone can post some proposal cards about there is a possibility of skyrocket in early future. If you justify your proposal beyond being a favorite illustration, it will always be more valid for the purpose of this post for other users. ❗❗❗Remember that this post is not an investment recommendation, simply an informative post where we share our tastes and proposals. Each user must be responsible for their financial situation and never spend or invest more than their financial capabilities. 🚫 For example this illustrations from Komiya. 1. Card Drowze sv1v Violet 086/078 in JP. Low price: 1$ High price: 25$ Actual price: 19,17$ (+666% up in last 3 months). 2. Card Frigibax sv2p Snow Hazard 075/071 in JP. Low price: 2,50$ High price: 7,18$ Actual price: 7,18$ (+99% up in last 3 months). 3. Card Actibax sv2p Snow Hazard 076/071 in JP. Low price: 2,50$ High price: 4,58$ Actual price: 3,98$ (+54,26% up in last 3 months). 4. Card Braxcalibur sv2p Snow Hazard 077/071 in JP. Low price: 3,38$ High price: 15,99$ Actual price: 11,27$ (+217% up in last 3 months). All of them in English have experienced even more skyrocketing but actual price is over 30-50€ in mostly of cases so is less attractive to get into you collection. ,

I would be careful with those Illustration Rares buyouts. It looks similar to the Japanese Waifu Boom during the last bull market - back then everyone was jumping the boat and look at those prices now. In my opinion, people are naturally looking for opportunities in the current cycle and just buying up everything that is still relatively "cheap." However, this is not sustainable because most of the people making those plays usually don't care for the cards or the Pokemon that are on them β€” especially the less popular ones. Those cards are not as hard to hit, there are plenty of them, and in some time not that many people will care for them.

@Christian Flores First of all, I didn't write this post to poke at your MS Financial Markets ego - so chill out primadonna. Second of all, I never said you were wrong I just gave another look at the situation so anyone from this forum won't blindly go and make purchases based only on your analisis. And third of all, I have only commented on the fact that certain cards that are seeing buyouts won't necessarily hold their value, especially if the Pokemon on the card is from the unpopular ones - because I can assure you that nobody gives a crap about some Frigibax. You in response talked about Sealed product and Magicarp (which is super popular Pokemon compared to Frigibax) - which neither was mentioned in your first post nor in my reply. This makes no sense. If you are buying those cards for a flip, because you are seeing some potential in them short-term - fine. It could be the play but they are no long term investments holds, period.
