Hello everybody! Saying hi from amazing Atlanta salsa and bachata festival..nothing is perfect… the only thing guaranteed is to mess up during a show. Sooner or later it will happen, that’s one of the reasons why you have to rehearse! @Sarah Koenig had a little issue with the dress too and she played it like a queen. @Adolfo Indacochea 1️⃣ I took my first salsa class a long time ago but have quit and started again so many times and never made it past the beginner level. 2️⃣ My biggest struggle is following in general (I rarely social dance) + spins. Not many people dance salsa around here and there are very few leaders unfortunately. On2 barely exists. 🥲 3️⃣ I am a beginner. 4️⃣ I do not have a partner, so in the next 12 months I want to focus on solo practice improving fundamental techniques and body movement. Goal is to become a "fun person to dance with" so that I do not have to beg for a dance, and to make my basics look good, hopefully also being able to add some styling elements. OK so I will overcome my fear of recording myself and added a clip of the EM fundamental level 1 footwork plus some On1 partnerwork in slippers. 😬
