So many times we give up just before our breakthrough not realizing that we were almost there. That is when real patience to push through is needed. To me patience means to be consistently constant in what I’m doing. Being consistent is not about always feeling motivated; it is about remaining committed and having faith to what matters. Believing that something is growing and developing, even if I cannot see it yet. Having “faith like potatoes”. Keep on watering the seeds. Believe that the seeds, although deeply covered in the soil and invisible, are developing under the ground, until one day the first sprig pushes through... Progress does not always announce itself with a dramatic moment. Real breakthrough is my spirit willing to keep showing up when the excitement has long disappeared and the results are not yet visible. The repeated, ordinary steps may feel insignificant in the moment, but together they are creating something bigger and greater that cannot immediately be seen. The "boring" thing I need to keep doing consistently is showing up for my own growth and development - learning, reflecting, applying what I learn, and continuing even when I do not feel like it. My breakthrough is hinged on my understanding that repetition is not evidence that I am going nowhere; sometimes repetition is the very road taking me to my desired destination. What’s ONE boring thing you know you need to keep doing consistently to get to your breakthrough?
