The Real Cost of DIY Social Media (It's Not What You Think)
Hey NoBSAI fam — Let's talk about the elephant in the room: your social media. Quick math: → Average time to create, schedule, and engage on social: 10 hrs/wk → Your hourly rate (if you're a business owner): $100-$500/hr → Real cost of DIY social: $1,000-$5,000/wk in opportunity cost Now compare that to No BS Social: → Starter: $997/mo (2 platforms, 10 posts/wk) → Growth: $1,997/mo (4 platforms, 20 posts/wk) → Scale: $3,497/mo (6 platforms, 30 posts/wk) We handle everything: brand voice, content creation, platform-specific formatting, scheduling, engagement. You focus on closing deals. The ROI math: → 80 posts/mo → ~80K impressions → ~12 qualified leads → $24K+ in revenue That's a 12x return on your Growth plan investment. No BS, just results. → Business owners ready to stop the DIY grind: students.nobsai.app → Don't have a business yet? Join our profit-share partner program: partners.nobsai.app Question for the community: How many hours a week are YOU spending on social media right now? And is it actually generating leads?

This is a solid breakdown of the opportunity cost — a lot of people underestimate how expensive “DIY” actually is. That said, I’m curious about the execution side. In real life, I’ve seen challenges around client expectations, proving ROI consistently, and adapting content across different industries. For those using this model successfully what’s been the biggest challenge in getting consistent results and client trust?

@Bobby Ai Secrets Yeah, that’s really the trade-off. If those hours aren’t leading to actual business, it’s easy to just stay busy without getting real results. Either the content needs to bring in opportunities, or it makes more sense to free up that time and focus on work that directly drives revenue.
The 3 Tiers of Targeting That 10x Your Outreach Results
Most people blast outreach messages to anyone with a pulse. That's why most people get ignored. Here's the framework I teach every client — the 3 Tiers of Targeting: Tier 1: Decision Makers These are the people who can sign the check. CEOs, VPs, Founders, Heads of Department. They have budget authority and they feel the pain directly. Your message to them should focus on outcomes and ROI — not features. Tier 2: Champions These are the people who influence the decision maker. Directors, Senior Managers, Team Leads. They can't sign the check, but they can put your name on the shortlist. Your message to them should be about making their life easier and making them look good to their boss. Tier 3: Connectors These are people in your network who know Decision Makers and Champions personally. Investors, advisors, former colleagues, community members. Your message to them is simple: "Who do you know that's dealing with [specific problem]?" Here's what changes when you use this framework: - You stop wasting time on people who can't say yes - - You build multiple paths into the same account - - Your response rates jump from 2% to 10%+ because you're speaking their language The biggest mistake I see? People only target Tier 1 and wonder why they get ghosted. Decision Makers are bombarded. Champions and Connectors are your backdoor into every deal. This is exactly the kind of targeting framework we build out for our DFY clients — but you can absolutely run it yourself. Here's your action step: Map out 10 target accounts right now. For each one, identify at least one person in each tier. That's your outreach list for the week. Drop your number below — how many accounts are you going after this week?

This is a great breakdown. The part that really stands out is how messaging shifts across tiers. Most people treat outreach like a one-size-fits-all pitch, then wonder why it falls flat. The “multiple paths into the same account” idea is especially powerful. Champions create momentum, connectors create access, and decision makers close. Skipping the first two is like trying to walk through a locked door instead of using the keys already around you. This week I plan for 20 accounts.
