šŸ”„ Monday Inspiration šŸ”„Your environment is shaping you
I’m sure everyone here is aware of this, so I’d like to send this as a ā€œreminderā€. Your environment is either building you up or breaking you down. It’s either pulling you forward or pulling you back. And most people don’t realize it’s happening until years later. Back then, I thought ā€œenvironmentā€ meant the people around you and the place you live. And it does. But today, our environment also includes something we carry in our pockets all day. Your phone. Your feeds. Your social platforms. Lucky us, we found a positive platform like this. You might not choose every thought you have (which I think you do), but you definitely DO choose what you consume daily. And what you consume becomes what you believe is normal and acceptable. Unfiltered inputs create unfocused outputs. Filter what you consume. šŸ˜‰ When I started my previous career, I made a decision about social media that honestly changed everything for me.Ā I cleaned it up. I got intentional. I started following people who raised my standard. I removed anything that made me weaker, distracted, or average. And over time, it helped me stay sharper, more focused, and hungrier. Because my environment kept pulling me in the right direction. So here’s your Monday challenge: 1ļøāƒ£ Take 5 minutes today and audit your environment. People, places, routines, and especially your feeds. If it’s not helping you become who you want to be, it’s probably helping you stay who you are.Ā Is that what you want? 2ļøāƒ£ Quick exercise: I’d love it if we could learn and inspire each other. Post your favorite 1–3 quotes below. The kind of quotes you’d want on a wall, in your notes app, or on your mirror. A quote that INSPIRES you! And if you can, write them down and carry them with you, especially when your motivation goes down.

āļø Life Update āļø and next step, I hope you're as excited as I am šŸ˜Ž
Quick heads-up before you read anything below: watch the video first šŸ˜… Without it, this caption won’t make sense. In the video I share the a quick life update, what the last months have looked like, and why I’m genuinely fired up right now… because a new journey starts tomorrow. Now here’s the perspective I wanted to add. (after you watched the video...) On Friday, I called my supervisor, and we talked for 40 minutes before I even officially started. Why? Because I’ve never been the type to walk into an opportunity without first understanding what ā€œgreatnessā€ looks like. I don’t want to guess. I don’t want to wing it. I want to know the standard, the expectations, and the best way to win. So today I’m reading and studying 15–20 documents to be even more ready for tomorrow. That’s the kind of leadership I respect. The kind of preparation I respect. The kind of effort that makes people want to work with you. And that’s also why I created this community. To remind each other that we can always give a little more than what’s expected, and we’ll usually receive more than we even imagined, because we’re becoming the type of person who earns it. Jim Rohn often cited the biblical principle: ā€œYou reap what you sow.ā€ Whatever you’re reaping right now is what you’ve been sowing. And if you don’t like the crop, the answer is in the mirror. Sow bad, reap bad. Sow good, reap good. And here’s the kicker: you never reap what you sow; you reap more. It multiplies, positive or negative. So I’m choosing to sow preparation, discipline, and leadership. Because that’s the crop I want. For years, I’ve heard people complain that their boss is an asshole. My perspective: if you show up lazy, unprepared, and entitled, your boss will probably feel like an asshole to you. But if you show up sharp, proactive, and dependable, the whole relationship changes. Wish me luck in this next journey. We’re walking through it together. My question for you: Looking at your life right now, what’s ONE area where you could give just 1% more this week? This month?Ā This year?

WHAT A CALL. šŸ™šŸ½šŸ”„
Huge thank you to everyone who showed up, asked thoughtful questions, and truly engaged. This honestly went way beyond my expectations, and that’s 100% because of the people in this room. The energy, the honesty, the depth of the conversation… it was special. A massive thanks to Eric for generously sharing his experience, wisdom, and perspective. From building businesses to navigating relationships, family, and the long game of life, this was real, grounded, and incredibly valuable. For those who couldn’t make it live, I strongly recommend watching the recording. There’s so much value in there, and I guarantee different things will click for you depending on where you’re at in your journey right now. šŸ˜Ž Feel free to send him a thank-you message and connect with him. šŸ“± 904.314.2911 šŸ“ø Eric's Instagram Thank you all for showing up the way you did. Seriously. This is why this community exists. šŸ™šŸ½ Feel free to share your feedback if you’d like.

Thoughtful Tuesday: Discipline Equals Freedom
I’ve listened to Jocko Willink on YouTube sporadically over the years (info about him here: Jocko Willink - Wikipedia) and I’ve always liked the following quote from him: ā€œDiscipline equals Freedom.ā€ He even wrote a book with that title (which I have yet to read, along with so many other great books). To onlookers, discipline might appear like suffering / an overly-restrictive way of living. However, applying strict protocols to oneself, as Jocko argues, is actually liberating. Here are some examples: If I am disciplined about my diet and exercise, I will achieve freedom from chronic diseases, medication, being a complete wreck by the time I am in my 70s, etc. If I am disciplined about saving money, building my own business and investing, I will eventually achieve freedom from financial burden and reliance on employers to survive. If I am disciplined regarding my education, I will be free from having to work menial, entry-level jobs forever. Etc.… Of course, there are no guarantees in life, but you get the point. Putting in the work now creates freedom in the future. Inputs equal outputs, as I’ve read both in this Skool and elsewhere. What’s your opinion? Do you agree with Jocko regarding his claim that ā€˜discipline equals freedom’? How has discipline made you free? How do you see it freeing you in the future? How strict should one be, in your opinion? When should we break the rules and promises we set for ourselves and just ā€˜live a little’ (many people have told me to do that over the years, haha🤣)? On a related note, I often like to apply what I call the ā€˜zero policy,’ for lack of a better term. This reduces ambiguity regarding things, such as eating sugar or drinking alcohol. If I simply follow a ā€˜zero sugar lifestyle’, there is no ambiguity regarding how much I should eat, should the opportunity arise. ā€˜Moderation’ is ambiguous, and doesn’t work. For some people, it could be one sweet per week. For others, it could be two per day. Zero is zero – simple, clear and liberating.

@Bruno Militz Addressing that root cause is really important: "When you know what you’re building toward, discipline feels less like restriction and more like direction." Fire point
