What's 1 thing...
That would make this community and the Accelerator even more valuable? I'm ready to level up this place! All ideas are welcome.

Perhaps some "get to knows" with some music supervisors? The ability to rub shoulders with decision makers?
Does AI have any place in music production?
Just curious how many of you out there have dabbled, or are currently dabbling with AI tools to assist in creating music? As a computer tech, it is a no brainer to me to experiment and see what they are capable, and not capable of. It seems the world has split in various camps on it. I'd just like to see where you all sit on it, thoughts and opinions.

I find it fascinating all the different ways and facets that people use AI to help boost their productivity and creativity. My personal take is that like anything, it is a wonderful tool that can be used a myriad of ways. I choose to use it for good. There are those out there who I am sure will misuse it like everything else on this planet, but I think conscientious people can find ways to make use of it to truly create art. I myself have been composing for so many years, and I still continue to compose that way, but the ways I have made use of it have stretched me far beyond my own mental shell. In ways it is pushing me to become a better musician and sparks creativity, that may have never sparked to begin with. I think like most things. It comes down to intent. Thank you Kaleb and Tim for sharing your thoughts!

@Chavert Valentine There is a lot of misinformation that it cannot create anything original. AI models are trained on data. So are humans. AI just has a higher capacity, speed, and ability to do so. Everything we see today in music made by humans is trained on others data (The music they listen to and enjoy) We even find ourselves labeling people and groups. (That group sound a lot like the Beetles, or that group has a strong Twenty One Pilots vibe) I totally understand the purist point of view, of liking your music to only come from humans. Over the last 20 years though, humans have pumped their sounds through thousands of dollars of engineering and plugins, and enhancements, to where, lets be honest, It would not sound the same without all the tech doing all that heavy lifting. Now do not get me wrong. AI Slop is a huge problem, and people just pumping out garbage with no thought and soul behind it is horrible, and I in no way condone that. I think it is up to the individual to decide, and I respect your point of view, but I also think there needs to be a lot more conversation and dialogue about it, and less judgement from all sides. In the end for me. Music is whatever moves you.
đź‘€What are you actually working on right now?
Been quiet on my end. Let's fix that. What's the biggest thing you've been working on in your sync catalog this week? Drop it below. No context needed, just tell me what you're building.

@Glenn Macrae Every track is different. Sometimes I start with a blank slate and just start messing around. Sometimes I have an idea in hand first. This particular track is a blend of a prompted AI output exactly to my liking, then I brought it into the studio and layered more instruments and stuff onto it to give it the flavor I tweaked and edited the vocals to give me what I wanted. Then mixed and mastered.
Feedback for Folk? Americana? Ish?
Hey everyone! Hoping to receive some feedback for a track I produced for my husband's band! This is my first time working on a song that isn't written by me since learning so much in the Sync Accelerator Program, so I'd like to see what other things I may be able to improve on working in other genres! https://s.disco.ac/aktdjrplbjvu Some notes: -It's a three piece band: two guitars (sometimes a banjo, but for this song it's two guitars) an upright bass, and male vocals -Not mixed yet because I'd like to see what suggestions you have before starting the mixing process. -I just noticed some background noise at the very end of the track. It's not intentional and will be removed haha. -References/inspirations of the band are Poor Man's Poison and Amigo the Devil. I included some Youtube videos below in case ya'll want to listen! Questions: -What genre would you consider this? The band is having a hard time categorizing themselves because they are unsure what people would consider this.

I went to try and listen, and page could not be found.
Feedback on Ambient cue
Hey all — would love some feedback on this cue. I’m going for a cinematic / ambient vibe - • Does the track feel emotionally engaging without being distracting? • I'm considering lowering the piano melody volume a little - but if there's no dialogue, probably ok. Thanks! https://s.disco.ac/htaxdtpvhshv

Feels very moderately happy. Not too much, just a calm happiness. Great job!
