14 Year of Sobriety & Building My Own Business - Here's the main thing I've learned:
It's all hard. Doing anything worth while is hard. Each one of my most profound growth periods - getting sober, growing professionally into my teaching career, dating endlessly until I found my wife, and now, building my private practice as a life coach/addiction coach...each of these transformative life-altering changes has been hard. It's all hard, until it's not. Because at the end of each of these transformative stages has been an entirely new life - each stage in its own way the most important spiritual work I've ever done. If you're reading this you're on the path. You've joined Sober Church for a reason. God has you exactly where you're supposed to be, divinely placed. See yourself moving into God's grace, living into your potential, your healing, your next transformation. I'm right here with you. Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask me for help. I'd be happy to jump on a call or video chat with you! Be well!

My Favorite Transformative Training I've Put In Our Sober Church Classroom
"Break the Pattern To Heal" is in your "Classroom" tab on Sober Church. This talk by Joe Dispenza on Jay Shetty's podcast has been my favorite 20-min transformative mindset training over the last 3 years. There was a period of about 6 months when I listened to this clip just about daily, and I've continued to return to it over and over. It's helped me with my sobriety. But, more than that, it's helped me move beyond the limitations of my relationship to employment. I became addicted to my job. This video helped me break free as I begin to understand that I was putting my work above God just like I used to put alcohol and weed and all my addictions before God. The same transformative process that got me sober is applicable in all areas of my life. It's posted in your "Classroom" tab. Give it a listen.

Recommit To Your Spiritual Growth
Read this affirmation to yourself: Everyday is a day I must recommit myself to spiritual growth. I know that my relationship with God must come first if I am to live in a state of grace with all things in my life. Therefore, I will ask for God's guidance all throughout the day. I will reach out to others on the spiritual path, with full faith that when I extend myself in service I will also receive. I will find my breath all through the day, because I know my breath is my anchor to God and all that God offers - peace, faith, acceptance, love, recovery, power. Many Blessings Today!
