Gaining Communication with your Co-Walker
Greetings, One of the first things most mentees ask me when it comes to sorcery and the Old Ways is, which Spirits should I focus on building a relationship with? While most times I would say beginning with one's Domestic Spirits such as the Spirits of the Home, or one's Ancestor Spirits, really the first place anyone should start would be to seek communion with your Co-Walker. In ancient lore, it is said that when we are incarnated, a spirit comes to this world with us. It has gone by various names, including Guardian Angel, but I like the term Co-Walker. Some liken this spirit to their Wandering Soul or their Higher Self. While there is a bit of wiggle room so to speak, I feel the co-walker to be a separate personage than your eternal Fayerie self embodied. Think of your Fayerie Self as Frodo and your co-walker as a type of Sam Gamgee. Eternally there, helping mediate your luck experience. To begin building this relationship, begin with working on going into your Sensorium. This is an essential practice. Once you have even a modicum of success in this, you can practice something called Profane Scrying. Taking a normal mirror, and a small candle, set yourself in a darkened room. Sit or stand before the mirror. Make sure the candle is not visible by the mirror or your eye, but that there is enough light to see the basic outline of your face. Then, sit there and gently gaze in your eyes through the mirror. This will, over time, induce a light trance state. You may begin to see your facial features change and morph. You might see yourself change into horrible shapes. You might see your skin fall away. You might see nothing but a skull. DO NOT FIGHT the changes. This is natural. Eventually, your face will look "normal", except that the pupils will be gone. It will be like you are looking into an abyss. This is your Co-Walker. When you reach this state, you MUST introduce yourself. And state what your goal is. And that goal is to build a relationship with it and to have that spirit become familiar to you.

Supermoon in Cancer
The full moon in Cancer brings themes of home, family, emotional security, and intuition to the forefront. The energy is intensified by the moon's proximity to Earth and its ruling position in the zodiac. Key astrological influences include: Emotional Intensity: Expect a surge of emotions, sensitivity, and nostalgia. The moon in a water sign encourages you to feel deeply and honestly, rather than suppressing emotions. Focus on Home and Family: This is a time for reflecting on your domestic life, family dynamics, and sense of belonging. Unresolved family patterns or childhood wounds may surface for healing. Balancing Inner and Outer Life: The Cancer moon opposes the sun in Capricorn, highlighting the tension between your private, emotional world (Cancer) and your public life, career, and ambition (Capricorn). The challenge is to find a balance where your work supports your life, not the other way around. Relationship Dynamics: The opposition to Venus and Mars in Capricorn can create push-and-pull dynamics in relationships, potentially bringing power struggles or testing patience. This energy encourages a focus on the most meaningful relationships and setting healthy boundaries. Intuition and Self-Care: This period is ideal for listening to your inner guidance and focusing on self-nurturing activities. Retreating into your inner sanctuary to recharge is encouraged.

Uncertainty
"Far from being a curse, uncertainty can be a source of hope. Okay, so yes, it means that the things we are looking forward to might not be as good as we want them to be, but it also means that the things we dread might not be as terrible as we inagine." -- Matt Haig Life is full of uncertainty, but when we let our fears control our thoughts and behaviors, we give it a power over us. It can cripple our ability to live our lives. Uncertainty can be either the Web that binds us, or it can be the springboard to greater blessings. When we consciously decide to make that leap into the unknown, come what may, we will find out that it isnt really as scary as we make it out to be. For instance, I have worked my day job for almost 6 years or so, and have heehawed about seeking a management position. I have heard how the corporation that owns our franchise treats the store manager and frankly, it is upsetting. I am fearful of added responsibilities, the fear of messing up. But mostly, because I know it takes me a very long time to integrate new skills and talents and master these things. But, as part of my New Year's resolutions, is the push to get over the uncertainty of whether I can be an effective shift lead at work. So, today I begin doing the Learning Zone videos to pursue this goal. Will I mess up? Absolutely. Will it take me awhile to really get things down? Sure! But, it is something I feel I need to do. Not just for my income, but because FEAR should not be a reason to not jump at an opportunity for self-improvement. The same goes for any practice of spirituality. In Witchcraft, many discover different spells and charms that they would like to try. Some fear "messing up". But those who "do the thing", end up realizing that their fear was unwarranted. And they end up succeeding moreso than failing. When I began to work with thr Goetic Daemon Clauneck, it was with great apprehension. Interacting with a new entity can bring its own fear, especially when dealing with Spirits from ancient grimoires. But, the steady alliance between Him and I, has manifested great abundance in my life, in small and yet powerful ways. I needed the uncertainty of whether He would accept my bargain and offerings. What was the worst that could happen? He could have easily ignored me, or at worse, make my life extremely chaotic.

New Year's Rites: What Do You Do?
Hello Friends, We are near the secular New Year and I know we all have some sort of rituals we do to prepare us for the beginning of a new calendrical year. Some of us pull Tarot cards, some clear clutter, some make Resolutions, and some just try to be extra kind. For me, I do something that not many other people mention, and I think it is a wonderful practice, and can help us achieve a greater understanding of Tarot. Tarot is an ancient oracular system, and messages from the Unseen are vital in our spiritual growth. When we are guided by the Gude Neighbors (by whatever names we call Them), we can be enlightened on possible pitfalls. What I do is actually very simple, and I would like to share it with you. I do a little bit of Numerology. First, take your birthday and the year we are entering. In my case this would be November 6 2026. Then, transmute it all into numbers. 11 06 2026 Now, take each numeral and add them together. 1+1+6+2+0+2+6= 18. Then, pull the 18th Major Arcana. That is MY Personal Tarot Card of the Year. This just happens to be The Moon. The Moon card can show us a variety of things. Its interpretation tends to show the following: Upright: Illusion, anxiety, subconscious fears, intuition, hidden truths, deception, the shadow self, instinctual urges. Reversed: Release of fear, repressed emotion, inner confusion, moving past illusions. It is associated with the Astrological Sign of PISCES and is thus a Water card (I am a Scorpio), and deals with keeping the balance between thus things as deception and truth, severity and mercy, and feral and calm mind sets. It is easy for the anxiety and fear to gain a foothold and allow us to lose perspective. So, my goal in this year is to maintain a sense of detachment from results, to be mindful of a balance of Heart and Head, and to be extra discerning when it comes to my dreams and potential relationships (whether business, platonic, or romantic). What is YOUR Personal Tarot Card of the Year? Leave it in the comments.
