Hi everyone, I wanted to share an idea for a new safety system and get your thoughts on it: Is there room to consider developing an automated, sensor-based mechanism that would automatically unlock and open the cockpit door whenever an aircraft experiences extreme vibrations, loss of control, or exaggerated and abnormal flight conditions? The Concept: In a dynamic edge-case scenario where the pilots might lose consciousness or become incapacitated, the system would detect the extreme deviation from the normal flight envelope and open the door automatically. This would grant the cabin crew immediate access to the cockpit to assist or save the aircraft.
