Hi everyone — I’m John Wigg, and I’m joining the DRAM777 apprenticeship as a beginner. I’m approaching this with a pretty simple objective: I want to develop genuine, demonstrable competence in a difficult skill. What interests me about DRAM777 is the opportunity to learn a structured framework for interpreting markets rather than depending on someone else to think for me. I want to understand what I’m seeing, why it matters, and eventually be able to apply the framework consistently and independently. I’m intentionally treating myself as a beginner. Any familiarity I may already have with markets doesn’t earn me the right to skip foundations. If I understand something, I should be able to demonstrate that understanding through recall and application. My commitment is to follow the curriculum in sequence, put in consistent repetitions, accept correction, and resist the temptation to optimize something before I’ve actually learned to execute it. I’m planning approximately 6–7 focused hours each week for study and deliberate practice. My initial goal isn’t to draw conclusions from a handful of outcomes. It’s to learn the model accurately, practice it repeatedly, execute it consistently, gather evidence, and allow demonstrated competence to determine my progress. Looking forward to getting started.
