Allow me to introduce myself
Hello Everyone -- my name is Sheri (like the Stevie Wonder song--- not the Steve Perry song) if that gets confusing.. You may call me what most of my friends call me, "Ree" πΊοΈΒ Where do you live? Charlotte, NC (but my goal is to be a nomad and a "Citizen of the World" π°Β What is your day job? 25+ Years as a Broadcaster (in 2024 the station that I had worked with and won ratings and awards for since 2014 was sold off in the Audacy Bankruptcy case.. no worry I also worked for a start up Hyper local News service which lost its funding three months later π€¦ββοΈ) -- I took a job with an airline as a flight attendant because my love of travel. Not by a long shot, a dream job. -- Now I am the co-founder of a group of three (soon to be four) online radio stations. I also freelance as a voiceover artist, designer, and creative consultant for DJs, podcasters, and content creators. I help them with show prep, serve as a coach to bring their shows/content to life, and ensure they are appealing to their audience and not just chasing trends. π₯Β What are you absolutely passionate about? Bringing art and creativity into the world and helping people reach that lightbulb moment! β‘οΈΒ What currently feels not as easy or smooth as you want it to be? Getting people to say yes to the offer and not feel like I should offer my services for free. Also, I have done work for friends who have strung me along and had outstanding invoices with me for a long time. There are times I feel people take my niceness as a weakness. ποΈΒ If you could wish for any ability, what would it be? To teleport... That whole Beam me up, Scottie thing --- is still cool in my book! π«£Β Whatβs something most people donβt know about you? I am also an actor (most of my close friends and family are aware of this, obviously). I've done everything from commercials, Stage, TV, & Film. I stopped telling people that I just met this -- because they think I am exaggerating about the broadcasting, acting, and freelancing.... Then act all weird once they look me up and find something I have done. ( and NO! It's not THAT kind of acting-- which they also think it's okay to make suggestions along those lines.)
