With new penny production discontinued, some businesses have begun adjusting cash transactions when exact change becomes unavailable. Today, one sentence is getting away with something. Write an ordinary sentence: “I forgot to call you.” Now make one tiny change that completely changes what the reader thinks happened. You may change one word, one punctuation mark, or where the emphasis falls. Example: I forgot to call you. Suddenly, somebody else got that call. 👀 Drop your original sentence and your altered version below. Then tell us: 🔎 What changed in the story without ever being directly said? Extra trickster points if someone in the comments finds an interpretation you never intended. Language leaves fingerprints. Let’s see who catches them. 🃏
