Products for ungating
Hello @Kome Olori @Tochukwu Agulonu Can you please advise. 1. For the purpose of ungating, is it okay if the product I’m buying is not an ideal option based on metrics shown from the tools I used? e.g, BSR of the product is unknown, estimated sales unknown, product might be a private label, no reviews; as long as I get ungated? 2. For the invoice, should the name on the invoice be my individual name or my store name? (I registered as an individual seller). Thanks in advance.

@Tochukwu Agulonu thanks for your response. Do you mean that I can go ahead and buy that product even if the metrics isn’t positive (e.g, above 100,000 BSR and profit lesser than £3), as long as there are other FBA sellers and it will help me ungate eventually?

Next steps
Hi all, Kindly help a sister out. Is my understanding correct that I cannot ungate a category without first purchasing the products to list? (Minimum of 10). If so, would that mean the next steps after account verification is to identify profitable products, purchase, then ungate and list? Thanks in advance

@Samuel Adebisi It’s a bit confusing as I’m very very new to this. I’ve watched all the videos in the module. I think my plan going forward is to subscribe to a tool (AMZscout) for product sourcing, then make the purchase and ungate. As Kome advised in the module, I’ll be going for the grocery category, so probably purchase products in that category. However, I’m a bit confused about whether one should ungatate a category or sub-category…….
