The day started with me going to the office earlier because I wanted to get back home early for the New Year. Since the season is off and clients are not very active, we mostly spent time talking, playing ludo, and enjoying each other’s company at the office, which honestly felt really good. After coming back home, I watched the fireworks (I don't really enjoy them, but I watched anyway since there was nothing else planned at that moment). Just before 12 am, I recorded myself for a year end video, and before going to bed, I spent a lot of time in family gossip, laughter, and conversations, and that made the day even better. Overall, it was a really good and peaceful day. Alhumdulillah. P.S. Posting this journal quite late as I am busy with weddings. I am recording my journals regularly, but I am not able to upload them on time.
Before You Say "Happy New Year", Read This...
The year almost came to an end. In just a few moments, midnight will arrive. Lights will fill the sky. Voices will get louder. Your phone will flood with New Year messages. But before getting pulled into the noise, pause for a second. Go to your room. Close the door. Sit quietly. Take your mind back to this exact night one year ago. You remember it. You were sitting in almost the same place, feeling hopeful, feeling fired up. You told yourself this would finally be your year. You said you would stop wasting your days. You said you would stop holding back. You said you would start making real money. You said you would speak with confidence. Now look at where you actually stand. Look at your bank balance. Look at your daily habits. Notice how your body reacts when you have to talk to someone new. Be honest with yourself. Did those promises turn into reality? For most people, the truth is uncomfortable. The year started with energy. January felt powerful. Then one tough morning came. One rejection showed up. Slowly, comfort pulled you back in. Scrolling replaced action. Watching replaced building. Another full year passed while you consumed other people’s progress on a screen. You stayed silent in rooms where your ideas mattered. You let chances slip away because fear felt safer than effort. It hurts to admit that fear quietly stole an entire year. This moment can either be the cost of every promise you broke with yourself. Or next year, you will be right here again. Same room. Same thoughts. Same balance. The choice is no longer hidden.

Everything went smoothly, from office work to family time and even deciding clothes for the upcoming back-to-back weddings starting from Friday. The highlight of the day was definitely the rain. While coming back from the office, it started lightly, but as I got closer to home, it became heavier. After reaching home, I enjoyed the rain with my family, and after many days, experiencing the rain like this genuinely felt refreshing and calming. Sach main, it felt really good to enjoy the rain after so long. Truly grateful for these simple yet beautiful moments, Alhumdulillah.

My First little win 🏆
I recently participated in a mobile application tournament. It was a 2-hour challenge where we had to build a mobile app within the given time. Many participants were in groups, but I decided to work alone. When I finished my app and looked at what others had made, I honestly felt a bit upset and thought my app might not rank well. But last Thursday, I received a call from my institute telling me that my app had won the tournament. This Saturday, I attended the award ceremony, where I received a certificate and a cash prize equivalent to $36, which means a lot to me. Through this experience, I learned many new things, gained confidence, and this win has motivated me to keep learning and building more apps. Grateful for the journey and excited for what’s next 🙌
