Hello everyone!, I love reading self improvement book, last time I read "Psychology of Money" by Morgan Housel, I believe you guys already know or even read it. This book really opens my insight about financial, I used to think that having a good job or higher position will grant me a lot of money, well it's true, but this book completely open my eyes with this quote below. "Doing well with money has little to do with how smart you are and it a lot to do with you behave" this quote is changing my view completely, the author straight up gave the example, I'll try to write it in a simple way: Ronald Read a Janitor who had no financial education, but he patiently saved his small paychecks for decades in blue chip, dividend paying stocks, for example: Johnson & Johnson, Dow Chemical, CVS health which is not fancy as crypto, startups or complex financial products. His discipline quietly turned his small earnings into a $8 million fortune. Richard Fuscone was a Harvard educated Wall Street expert, but he spent recklessly to fund a lavish lifestyle and took on massive debt. Well, when the 2008 crisis hit he went completely bankrupt. So, the patient janitor vastly outperformed the greedy executive. Read succeeded because of his good behavior despite his lack of education, while Fuscone lost everything because of his bad behavior despite his elite intelligence. It proves that you don't have to be a genius or expert on something to get rich. Btw, I am currently reading "Surrounded by Idiots" by Thomas Erikson, the title is sarcastic ofc 🗿, but after I read half way through, it all make sense. When I finish the book I'll write down some interesting insight here
