Chamomile Recipes
Chamomile Tea (My Go-To) This is the way I use chamomile most often. Nothing fancy, just comforting. You’ll need: 1–2 teaspoons dried chamomile flowers Hot water Pour hot (not boiling) water over the chamomile and let it steep for about 5–10 minutes. I usually cover the cup while it steeps so the goodness stays in. I like this in the evening, especially on nights when my body feels tired but my mind won’t slow down. Chamomile Bath or Soak This is one of my favorite gentle self-care remedies — especially for stress, sore muscles, or skin that feels irritated. You’ll need: ¼–½ cup dried chamomile flowers A pot of hot water Pour the hot water over the chamomile and let it steep for 15–20 minutes. Strain, then add the liquid to a warm bath. I think of this as letting the day rinse off — slow, quiet, and calming.

Herb of the week: Chamomile
Herb of the Week: Chamomile 🌼 Chamomile is one of those herbs I always come back to. It’s gentle, comforting, and just feels like a deep breath in a cup. I use it most for winding down in the evening, calming an upset stomach, or when the kids (or me 😅) are feeling a little on edge. If you want to keep it simple: Just steep a teaspoon or two of dried chamomile in hot water for about 5–10 minutes. That’s it. You can also use it for things like baths, skin compresses, or even a light hair rinse. I’m curious — have you used chamomile before? Or is there another herb you’d like me to share next?
