Let me ask you something. When was the last time you played all out? Not watched from the stands. Not warmed the bench. But actually got in the game and gave everything you had. God did not create you to sit on the sidelines. He called you to be more. To do more. To have more. But here’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud — You cannot step into everything God has for you with a weak body and a distracted mind. Your body is not an accident. It was designed. It was built for hard things. And it is your responsibility to train it, to discipline it, to honor the One who gave it to you. Stop saying you HAVE to go work out. Start saying you GET to. There are men right now — good men, strong men — who would give anything just to be able to move the way you can. And we sit in comfort. We sit in convenience. We sit on the sidelines. I want to share something personal with you. Today was day 2,347 in a row that I pushed my body to sweat. I’m not telling you that to brag. I’m telling you that to show you what is possible when you decide that God has more in store for you and you refuse to let your body be the thing that holds you back. But here’s what I have to be honest about. For almost 2,000 of those days, I was training my body hard and neglecting my spirit. I was disciplined in the gym. But I wasn’t disciplined in the Word. I was showing up for my workout. But I wasn’t showing up for God. And then something shifted. Over this last year, God started moving in me in a way I could not ignore. And I realized — the same discipline I gave to my body, God was asking me to give to Him. Non-negotiable time in worship. Non-negotiable time in prayer. Not when it’s convenient. Not when I feel like it. Every. Single. Day. Because here’s what I know now: Training your body without training your spirit is only half the man God made you to be. And training your spirit without disciplining your body leaves power on the table that God put there for a reason.
