🚀 Lead Generation Is Only Step One — Lead Nurturing Wins the Sale
Most businesses obsess over getting leads. Very few focus on what happens after the lead comes in — and that’s where the real money is made. ⚠️ The Problem We See Every Day - Leads sit untouched for hours or days - First response happens via email only - No follow-up structure - No urgency in outreach By the time someone replies, the lead has already contacted 3–4 competitors. ⏱️ Response Time = Conversion Rate Industry data consistently shows: - Responding within 5 minutes can increase conversion rates by up to 9x - After 30 minutes, lead intent drops sharply - After 24 hours, most leads are effectively cold Speed isn’t a “nice to have” — it’s a competitive advantage. 📱 Why SMS Outperforms Email & Calls SMS is still the most underused channel in lead nurturing. Why SMS works: - 📬 ~98% open rate - ⚡ Most messages are read within 3 minutes - 💬 Feels personal, not promotional - 🚫 No spam folder issues - 📲 Perfect for mobile-first behavior Compare that to email: - 20–30% open rate - Delayed reads - Easily ignored 🔁 The Winning Lead Nurture Stack A high-converting lead flow usually looks like this: 1. Instant SMS (within 60 seconds) 2. Follow-up Call (5–10 minutes) 3. Reminder SMS (same day) 4. Structured follow-ups over 3–7 days The goal is presence without pressure. 💡 Key Takeaway Lead generation gets attention. Lead nurturing + fast response builds trust. And SMS is the quickest bridge between interest and action. If you’re running ads, SEO, or forms and not prioritizing response time, you’re leaving revenue on the table.

You are so right! Auto SMS and quick follow up are huge today! Most people want answers now! They will move on to the next company and get a quote. The sooner you get to them the better results. If you don’t have a funnel system in place before spending a lot on ads, you could be wasting a lot of money on cost to acquire a customer. Great stuff!
Check Your Google Search Partners
Anytime we audit an account the first thing we check is was "Search Partners" left on. Google will sneak it in and leave it auto selected. Go in and uncheck that. You'll thank me later with quality of leads. How to do this? Go to your campaign, hit campaign settings, then Network. Make sure both search network and display are unselected.

Google Ads Ad Schedule
Check out creating a Google ad schedule. This means you decide when Google will display your ad. If your goal is website traffic, form fills, and overall awareness don't worry about setting one up, let google run 24/7. However, if you are running call ads and your company is only open 9-5 we recommend setting up ad schedule to when your team will answer. Wasted calls with no answer can be a huge ad spend killer. Other option is to set up things like callrail where they will receive an auto text, interactive VM, or even AI receptionist. Way the pros and cons of letting your ads run on a schedule. Let me know what you have found works best. Head To Campaigns > Audience, Keywords & Content > Ad Schedule.

Additional Tip. We do recommend killing ads for most companies in the middle of the night (unless that tracks with your audience) We have found more spam comes in on the odd hours of the night. This tip alone can save you a lot of money in wasted clicks.
