My first flute was in key of C for the Root Chakra. Second was F#, but something changed when I first got my hands on the Key of G. My heart was wide open and it felt like my soul could speak. Sometime's when I play I will completely blackout. What key do you feel most resonates with your spirit?

Welcome to Earth Tones Flute Community. This is a healing space built just for us, a place to share our love for the Native American flute and the power of sound to heal ourselves and our community. My name is Aaron. I've been playing Native flute for about two years now, and it has completely transformed my life. My journey began watching a friend play in his band. Two thoughts hit me immediately: 1.) Wow... that is a beautifully crafted instrument. And 2.) I can play like that! Shortly after, I connected with a local flute maker named Ben and commissioned my first flute, a travel-sized drone flute, cedar, key of C#. The rest, as they say, is history. When I started posting videos on social media, I began discovering a world of flute makers and players, mostly you all, each with a beautiful, distinct voice and signature style. Something became clear. Each of us was guided to this instrument. The words we could never find, the emotions locked away for decades, this flute gives them somewhere to go. It creates space for what has long needed to flow. This is more than an instrument. It is the voice of our ancestors. Now we want to hear from you.
