For emotional control, how do you regulate emotions from things that happen which are out of your control. For example, when I'm trying to deep work etc.. my parent's barge in and distract me. It's not really anyone's fault but I find my self irritated a lot because of it.

For finding inner peace, and controlling your emotions, how do you deal with being stuck in a rut. I sometimes wake up in the morning with no motivation to do anything and when I try to rationalise it in my mind like I need to do this work because of this etc… My mind immediately springs back with “but why there’s no point”. Like when I want to go work out, “but why” because I want to look good “but why”. If I find myself without an answer then I tend to be lazy and procrastinate on what I need to do. It’s like this twisted sense of nihilism. Have you got any tips for regulating this part of my emotions and to stop it from happening? I tend to find that when I have a rock-solid purpose for what I’m doing this is basically non-existent, what are your thoughts on this? (slightly irrelevant side note: have you got any tips for finding more of a purpose in the things you do?) Long question ahaha but thank you Dilan for everything you're doing 🫡
